  2. The Action is Go is the fourth studio album by California stoner rock group Fu Manchu. It features new drummer Brant Bjork and new lead guitarist Bob Balch, replacing Eddie Glass and Ruben Romano, who left to form the band Nebula. According to an AllMusic review, the new lineup provided Fu Manchu with "the impetus and inspiration to really start moving forward," and the resulting album demonstrates the Genre: Stoner rock.

  5. Comes with a "Limited edition color vinyl" on front sleeve. Limited to copies. Sold directly by the band at European shows where Fu Manchu played "The Action Is Go" in its entirety. The original vinyl release had 2xLP inside a regular sleeve. This pressing has a gatefold sleeve with different live pics than the release.

  6. The Action Is Go! lets him demonstrate that in spades, not to mention his guitar abilities as well as Balch's lead soloing. He and Bjork make perfect recruits for Fu Manchu -- the one pours out the heavy, never dull riffing, the other knows how to lay down some grooves and slam it 8/

  8. Fu Manchu are an institution, and this is definitely one of their better albums. In fact, it's an absolute corker. Recorded not long after guitarist Eddie Glass and drummer Ruben Romano jumped ship to form Nebula, The Action is Go saw the 'Chu welcome aboard legendary ex-Kyuss drummer, Brant Bjork - easily one of the finest living sticksmen in stoner rock - and his presence here does this /5(66).
